Who is Raz?

Raz is the creative spirit behind Textured Toadstools—a painter, dreamer, and story-weaver with a brush. Born and raised in the quiet charm of Lebanon, Tennessee, Raz (also known as Taylor House) has wandered far and wide, gathering inspiration from every corner she’s called home.
Her work is a reflection of both the whimsical and the raw—layered with emotion, texture, and the stories that come from a life lived with wonder and resilience. As a mother and artist, Raz balances the beauty of creating with the daily realities of living with chronic conditions including POTS, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and autoimmune disorders. Through it all, she continues to paint and explore, finding color even in the quietest moments.
Every piece she creates carries a little magic, a little mystery, and a whole lot of heart. Textured Toadstools is more than a name—it’s a world she’s building, one brushstroke at a time.
